There are several ways you can love people in our community. Here are just a few ways that Crosspoint has chosen to do so.
Backpack Ministry
Through our Backpack Ministry at Crosspoint we provide food for children on the weekends who might not have much to eat at home. These bags of food are distributed to our local schools and given to children who have been identified as good recipients by local school staff. All of the products placed into these small tokens of love each week are all donated by church members and other members of our community.
Good News Club
Crosspoint has partnered with Child Evangelism Fellowship and Westmoreland Baptist Church to offer Good News Club at Kellogg Elementary School. Through this ministry we are able to minister to local elementary school children in the schools in a completely voluntary, after-school program. Our volunteers sing songs, lead classes, pray with the children, monitor the playground, help clean up and most importantly are given the chance each week of Good News Club to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to children who may have ever stepped foot in a church. We need your help! Volunteer today.
If you are interested in helping with any of these wonderful outreach opportunities then let us know.
Thank you for your interest in serving our community by being the hands and feet of Jesus. Someone will contact you shortly on how you can get started today!
