We are excited to announce that we are hosting a community Back 2 School event to be held on August 17th at 10am in the SVHS Parking Lot. We are excited to be able to help equip families as they begin the 2023-2024 school year. At this event we will have free food, music, inflatables, free school supplies, and more. We are inviting local organizations and community entities to share information and provide services during this exciting event.

Easter service will be held at 1030 AM on Sunday, March 31, 2024. The service will be located at the Spring Valley High School Auditorium located at 1 Timberwolf Drive, Huntington, WV 25704.
Maybe you would consider yourself a follower of Christ or maybe you're new to the idea of church and God, and you’re still trying to decide how these things might fit into your life. No matter where you fall, we're glad that you're here.
We also want to bless our community by taking up an offering which will be given to the Community in School programs at Spring Valley High School, Kellogg ELementary and Vinson Middle School. You will be able to give in-person and online as well for this special offering.
There is no dress code. Some may come in shorts and t-shirts while others wear dresses and slacks. You might even see the occasional suit and tie. Either way, the important thing for us is that you are here, so come as you are.
Our service will be a family-friendly service where families are encouraged to sit together for a time of worship. There will not be any children’s classes during this service, however, we will provide activity packets for any children who may like them with coloring sheets, colored pencils, etc.

L A D I E S R E T R E A T / / The ladies of Crosspoint are hosting a Ladies’ Retreat on October 27-29. The event will be held in Lavalette, WV. The cost is $100 if you wish to stay and sleep in a bed, and $80 if you choose to come and go or sleep on an air mattress. Deposit of $40 is due by April 2, 2023. You can pay online via our online giving platform and choose the Ladies Retreat fund, or pay by cash or check made out to Crosspoint.

Hear the gospel in a fun, exciting, and captivating way through worship and Bible study in the great outdoors. M.A.B.R. is also packed with fishing, archery, air rifles, bag toss, good food, and hanging with friends. Boys from first grade up may attend.
E A S T E R 2 0 2 3 / / Join us on Sunday, April 9 at 1030 AM for our Easter Service. This year we will be hosting a Community Easter Service at Spring Valley High School Auditorium. Immediately following the service we will be hosting our Egg Hunt immediately following service outside in the grass areas around the school.
S E D E R M E A L // On Wednesday, April 5 at 6:30pm, Dr. Samuel Abbate will be serving us a traditional Jewish Seder Meal and teaching about the customs surrounding the Passover. Please RSVP to the church office if you plan to attend.
Y O U T H F U N D R A I S E R // Plan to stay after service on March 26 for a Spaghetti dinner fundraiser. This fundraiser will help support our youth in the efforts to go to Fuge Camp in the summer.

We are excited to join 20th Street Baptist Church (Kenova) on Sunday, October 9 for a joint service outside at St. Cloud Commons Park in Huntington. We will have a worship service at 11am, followed by a pot luck style dinner to follow. Please bring a dish, desert, and/or drink to share and bring a guest!

Spark imagination and kick creativity into high gear at Spark Studios. At Spark Studios kids will learn that God’s creativity didn’t stop in Genesis. The Master Artist is working to redeem, reclaim, and transform us–His creation–to the design He planned for us. Kids will see the beautiful truth that they are God’s workmanship as they learn to use their talents to bring glory to Him.

Spring Valley Young Life is sponsoring a lock-in event at Malibu Jacks in Ashland KY. The event will be held on March 18-19 from 11:30pm-6am. Cost is $40 per person (if paid by 3/7) and $45 after 3/7. You must have a ride there and be picked up.
